Bach party

So, the wedding season really started with my bachelorette party.

It was one of my dearest dreams to mob the town in a big group of Courtney Loves and Ms. Bee TOTALLY MADE IT HAPPEN with a couple of my other favorite ladies.

Here are scenes from the evening.

Started out at Bimbo’s Bitchin’ Burrito Kitchen. This is our cousin Marissa, who was an incredibly realistic Courtney. As the night progressed, I became very fond of pulling people over to her and saying “DOESN’T SHE LOOK JUST LIKE COURTNEY LOVE??”

(Also, it bears mentioning that we passed a pizza place and a true-to-life clown sitting down to dinner pointed at us in disbelief.)

Next was our impromptu photoshoot in Cal Anderson park. Being a perpetual goody-two-shoes, I love that we look like bad girls.

And then!! Karaoke at the Rock Box. I’m already planning my next visit. Whisky flowed like wine.

And for the Grande Finale: a pack of Kurts awaited us at Barca! Unbeknownst to me, the dudes had been stocking up on Grunge Man wigs and flannel, led by none other than Nathan aka The Groom.

It was an amazing night! Full of thrift (coupons made our bill at Bimbo’s around $5), thrifting (slips, flannel and… my wig…) and nostalgia for the good ol’ days.
